Afternoon. Gorgeous day here but has now clouded over. I left yesterday's washing out all night to be darked on.

Have just done maths homework with DS2. Give me strength. Four questions of knowing what to do and working it out and then the final question deciding that actually he’ll find the area of something by adding rather than multiplying.

Riviera starts again soon - series 2. DH didn’t watch series 1. He’s said he’ll watch the new one. However, he won’t really know who anyone is or what’s going on without having seen the first series and he doesn’t want to particularly watch it. This means there will be many questions “so who’s she?” “why is he doing that?” “are they together?” etc etc etc

Oh God LetUs - we were talking about this exact same scenario at work today Bloody manshapes who come in halfway to something and spend the entire time interrupting it by asking questions.

I have been out digging and edging the veg patch - which could do with having some veg put in it! Am using Athos the massage machine on my back. I have some knots...

Well. I am having a FFS sort of day (already).
DS has lost his school reading book. I try to suggest where it while while scribbling in a parental consent form. Get DS to sign form too, and fetch our copy of his school book so he can at least carry on reading the story. Spin in general circles, trying to get DS out the door.
Get to school - DS remembers that his book is probably in his tray at school Realise that I've left his packed lunch at home, and also the form i'd filled in. Get home. Realise I've gone out without house keys and DH has left for work. FFAS... retrieve spare key from 3rd flowerpot-on-the-left-under-woodpile (sort of thing) and get into house - retrieve lunch and form; replace life-saving spare key, go back to school, VOTE!!!!!! come home and open emails. And I am still, apparently, working with idiotic muppets. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

No, DH doesn't ask questions about TV programmes if he doesn't understand he just goes to sleep. It's me that's the problem. We're watching the latest series of Vikings on History channel and it doesnt have sub-titles. I have to constantly ask him what's going on bcause I can't make out what they're saying. It's not the volume, it's the clarity. I think I'm going to give up and get the DVD.

In proud mother news - DS voted for the first time yesterday . He found it a little underwhelming, but there is not much buzz at a Euro election polling station!
