Bye bye baby!!

Just dropped off ds1 for his first day at school.sob sob!! He was absolutely fine, just waltzed in with his friends and sat down quite happily and I walked into the playground and just burst into tears.what a sap!!!1
Ds2 is asleep in his cot now and the house is eerily quiet.I feel like I've had my arm chopped off!!!
Roll on 3o'clock!!!
Thanks to those who responded to my foundation stage stress.I'm sure he'll fine and will be able to keep up.I'll just have to curb my pushiness!!!

You know deep down that that's the way to go in - no hassles and very happy...he'll be fine, and so will you!!. I did exactly the same and at the Xmas nativity.... and at the Mother's day assembly .... and at sports day - join the club for emotional mummies!!!

oh poppyseed so glad it's not just me! Went to pick him up at 3 o'clock and he was buzzing!! he had obviously really enjoyed himself and was full of all the things he'd done, which was lovely! Got to say, once I got busy the day passed really quickly and I can see that it's not going to be as hard as I thought.( she says trying to convince herself!)
I've got say, he seems more grown up after just one day.Anyone had that experience? Or am I imaginging it?

I think the uniform makes them look older!! DD got the deputy headteacher award at school today and learnt to swim without a float (a day full of emotion for me!! Sunglasses firmly on at these times)
