You can with your password, but not sure how.

Pixiefish · 10/07/2007 11:58

you can normally log in to your internet provider and access emails from the home page. eg if you are with Tiscali- go to their home page and log in to your mail.

If you have web based email like hotmail or yahoo it's ok anyway

throckenholt · 10/07/2007 11:58

depends on the email service provider - they may have a webmail application that you can use (most do).

You obviously won't be able to get into your own pc at home !

Pixiefish · 10/07/2007 11:58

who are you with

Kewcumber · 10/07/2007 11:58

most email providers have an internet based method of picking up emails. You need a computer which has access to the web (internet cafe?) and the webaddress of your email provider, smae user name and password as at home normally apply.

Smaug · 10/07/2007 11:59

it depends whether you have web-based email. Does your ISP just direct your emails to your computer through Outlook (or the like) or can you access it via the www, like hotmail, or yahoo?

For instance, my emails are set up for Outlook to import from my ISP, but they also have webmail so I can access via the www, therefore anywhere.

If you use webmail while away it will keep the messages on the server so you can download them when you get back.
