Hi all, I'm bridesmaid for a friend later this year. She has booked 5 nights abroad for her official hen party plus another day/night away in a nearby city as an 'at home do'. I have agreed to go to both. The trip abroad was originally for 17 but now the two people I knew have both dropped out. Obviously the bride will still be there but I can't expect her to stick with me the whole time! This has left me feeling really anxious about the whole thing. Tbh if it was just 2 nights I'd probably go and make the effort but 6 days/5 nights abroad trying to make conversation with people I don't really know is pretty much my idea of hell! I'm dreading it and want to drop out, but I feel guilty at the thought of letting the bride down when I have previously agreed to go. Advice please? x
