Just sold my 1st item through paypal and I'm confused. The buyers address is unconfirmed and the sellers protection scheme is ineligible. Rang Paypal, they said most non US addresses are unconfirmed and that I 'should be OK'. Is it like this on most UK transactions?

In my experience, yes it is like that. I've had lots of these transactions and the money has been safe as houses. Don't worry.

Yes I think it is. My DP waited for ages after emailing the person to get them to confirm the address, didn't want to send it to the wrong place. When I brought something recently my address came up as uncomfirmed so I put a little note in the box to confirm that this really was my address. Email them if you want to be reassured.

My address is unconfirmed even though I have a credit card with the matching address registered - can't seem to find how to change it to confirmed.

tammybear · 07/09/2004 12:18

my address comes up unconfirmed too

lydialemon · 07/09/2004 12:28

Is this the same as being nonverified on paypal?

We've just hit our £500 limit on paypal and are going through loads of stuff to be able to continue using it. One of things they do is to ring you at you're billing address to confirm you actyally live there. I presume that when we actually get it done, our address will be confirmed? Don't know to be honest!
