Hi - just wondering if there are any techies (but not too techie) out there who have made their own websites?

We're starting a business and need to set one up... I used to work in internet stuff (design mainly), but have been out of the game for a long time (dd1 now 5) and wonder what software people would recommend 'nowadays'!

A few moving gizmos would be good (is macromedia flash easy to learn, fx?), as the business is a children's nature exploration place (thinking jumping frog sim to butterfly on www.gruffalo.com).

Any ideas appreciated

Dreamweaver is good and you can buy it bundled with Flash (Macromedia Studio MX also includes Fireworks for image editing). IMO Flash is not easy to learn, and complex animations (like jumping frogs) would be best handled by an expert unless you want to go for a deliberately primitive look!
