A question about Body Shop fake tan.

Right! I bought the Body Shop fake tan mousse and decided to do a patch on my tummy to test it first. Well, nothing happened!
I'm quite fair so thought I would've seen some difference, but no.
I exfoliated and moisterised (sp? - doesn't look right) 24hrs prior and then put it on with mit that they conned me into buying.
So what am I doing wrong?
I have a wedding to go to next week and I don't want pasty legs - please help.

Do you usually take a while to get a colour naturally? I would try on your legs- it might need a few applications over a few days to build up a colour. I haven't tried this product though.
I prefer to do a light coverage, I even mix with a body lotion,so it's a more natural build up of colour.
Some people aslo tan better in one area than another- me, I get colour on my arms, back, shoulders but my legs take forever.
