to put the number plate of the car doing the towing on the back of the towed car.

Hubby was trying to work out how to fix the numberplate on when I said there was no need to put it on. Hubby exploded at this point and told me to f off and not to tell him what to do when he knows, and he's right, I'm wrong, blah, blah, blah. He kept shouting that my car was effectively a trailer, mmmmmm actually I think its still a car.

Firstly I'm pissed off with constantly been spoken to like a piece of shit. And he wonders why I get grumpy with him. But I'm also convinced I'm right - surely 99% of people don't own a spare number plate. He gave up in the end as he couldn't fix it on.

we have been towed a cpl of times and never moved the number plate! you need big sign in red writing saying on tow and hazard lights need to be on the towed vehicle

We had the sign, but it was a home made sign and I did it in black!

It was all a bit stressful actually as the towrope snapped on the bypass, hubby drove off at a roundabout and left me there. I started my car up and drove off much to the suprise of the bloke behind.

Went through town having to turn the engine off at every traffic light as desperate to get to the scrap yard before it overheated. Then found out the road I was planning on going down to get there was flooded and had to go a lonegr way. Just made it though with loads of steam coming from under the bonnet.
