Does anyone use sunbeds? if so how often?

I would go on occasionally as they're free at my gym. I find them really relaxing funnily enough.

I did 3 times before my wedding (yeras ago now)to try to disguise a hideous tan line. It didn't work and I wouldn't risk it now with all the adverse publicity. But I do wonder whether it would be good occasionally to sort out my skin

how long does it take to build up a tan on them? I'm thinking of going on for 3 mins every other day for a week and then slowing it down once I start to get a bit of colour...does anyone know how often you need to go on just to "top up" once you have a tan? something like once a month?

While the government does not recommend the use of sunbeds, there is currently no training or regulation associated with their use.

But the World Health Organisation has stated that there is "an urgent need to reduce the health and environmental impact of increased ultra-violet exposure" and has called for public education about this issue.
