Personally I keep the letter all in the same font. My address goes at the right hand side and the address i am sending to goes on the left. I think 3-5 yrs is fine. If you know the name then your sincerely is fine, if not traditionally it is yours faithfully.

iirc, you should write the numbers 1-10 (ome, two etc) and put in digits anything 11 and above.

or "one" even...

ok will do three months to five years.

I do know the lady but not well and will be hand delivering it.

Do i still need their address?

  1. No, the address stays in the same font size.
  1. If you know the name, it is yours sincerely. If you don't know the name, it is your faithfully. (as in Dear Sir).

  2. In written text, always spell numbers. So it would be three to five years, etc.

Hope this helps.

yes it does but do i need to put their address in as well on the left? or just mine?

Their address goes at the top of the letter, on the left.

I'm not sure about the etiquette of your address, but I've always put in to the right margin, parallel with their address on the left.

Don't forget to write the date! I always forget that...
