...CHICKEN DAY!

We now have 3 hens in the garden (in a run atm). Dd chose a Leghorn (very refined taste my dd) which she has called 'Sarah Jemima' (after her first choice of name 'Filthy' was rejected by me! Ds1 chose a very fat Speckeldy which he has called 'Speckeldy Selina' and ds2 who is too young to choose has had a Black Rock chosen for him, which ds1 has called Ginger in honour of the Ginger on Chicken Run. All very exciting. Ds1 keeps looking for an egg!

No no, no Ramsay impressions here! Just for the eggs, and the lovely hens themselves! They are lovely, if a bit stupid, 2 of them are dossing on the floor, not on the perch!
