If you can get to Tesco Brent Cross (NOT Brent Park) then right next door to them there is a sports centre which apparently has a very good soft-play area and other activities. I've never been there myself, despite all good intentions, so only know of it from other mothers.

Yikes 6am!

Last term I enrolled ds at the Tricycle Theatre for 'dance' classes, suspected that they might be oversubscribed so arrived over an hour early. There were already people there ahead of us, and by the time the booking opened, the queue stretched out of the building. I want to put both of mine down for classes there again this term, but will be on holiday when the booking opens - so not a hope!

Ds is now too old for the Hendon soft-play, but I must try it for dd one Weds or Thurs when he's at nursery. Combine it with doing the weekly shop!
