Donations for the elderly.

I am planning on gathering some bits together between myself and a friend and donating to the elderly for Christmas to a local residential home.

We also plan on doing the same for a Children's charity. Whilst we have ideas on what we can donate to the Children, What do you suggest would be good for the elderly?
