You could end the auction early and then block their name from bidding in the future?
I am not sure what else to do. You could always post this message on the ebay community chat boards?
Good luck. I have something that I sold and I am STILL waiting for the buyer to return my emails or pay.

Lowryn · 30/08/2004 08:45

Sorry, just read this again, did you have any bids from other people?

Make sure you block further bids from this person!

If he doesn't Yorkiegirl, you can make a "second chance" offer to the person with the highest bid (apart from him obviously). Remember to report him as a non-paying bidder if he doesn't.

I really hate people that bid and have no intention of buying

Send an invoice straight away, then repeat if nothing heard after five days, the email him, then email to advise that you will log a non paying bidder report then log the report. I normally give them 2-3 weeks. Most people aren't this lenient!

What is it he has brought? He might not turn up and you will be sitting waiting for him like a right idiot. Can he send a cheque first and then pick up once its cleared?

If he does pay by paypal theres a thing called a chargeback he could do, which basically means he takes the money back from your pp account once hes got the goods...be weary

Lorwyn - i had that- no emails returned- nothing. IN the end I filed a non-paying bidder alert with ebay so I got my listing fee back and he's now blocked.

I currently have my 2nd non-paying bidder on ebay.
Why do people do it? It is SO annoying!
I just cant understand why they bid and then dont even bother to respond to emails!

meandthomas · 30/08/2004 13:23

kpeel673?
all this talk of non payers... i won a sleepsuit but am getting no response from my emails. I just thought I'd see if that was anyone...?

charliecat · 30/08/2004 14:26

Meandthomas, that seller has over a hundred auctions running at the moment so may be bogged under with end of auction emails if you are trying to get thier address go to you ebay page and do the PAY NOW thing, click on Paypal, cheque or whatever and you will get thier address on the next page. HTH. If it wasnt that then sorry!

meandthomas · 30/08/2004 18:49
