mooncup: the dreaded finally happened... (warning - tmi)

i was admiring my mooncup extraction technique after having done my business in the toilet, when... yes... i dropped it!!! ugh my life seems to be fitted with a smug-alert wotsis.

so am i the only one?

I had become mooncup-blasé after using it for a few months.

I was in the toilet extracting said mooncup, tugged too vigourously and it flew out.

Unfortunately my white terrier was with me (very needy dog) and he (and the walls, shower curtain and floor) got sprayed with the contents.

One unhappy pet as he couldn't understand why he was having a bath.

Since then I have been slightly less enthusiastic during extraction.

I left mine in a starbucks once. I took it out to clean and left it on the back of the sink by mistake. (it was a light day) I only realised when I was halfway out of the door and a smart-suited business man was walking in

tie it on a bit of elastic on the stem and attach the other end to your wrist.

I dropped mine, toilet full of mooncup contents [yuk] so I thought I'd flush it as there was no way it would get flushed away...but it did

didn't mean too, never for a minute did I think it would actually get flushed away, jsut wanted to pluck it out of slightly cleaner water, am normally a v good girl

I lost mine in the loo at work this week. It just flew out and then disappeared.

Had been using i for about 5 months so need to buy a ne w one for next months AF.

Felt lost without it and hated using tampons again even for one day.

Sorry should add that it flew into the loo and not just randomly in the cubicle!

I think I would have fished it out but it had gone. Yeuch!
Probably best that it did go round the U bend
