hi is anyone interested in buying a really cute hand made childrens chairs in cute animal shapes a great present for your childs birthday or a good christmas present

... and there I was resisting the temptation to promote my brother's furniture by putting a link on to his web site! .... but there again, it's not children's furniture (just really nice grown up furniture).

Thinking of Janz's brother, I wonder if it's a good idea to have a market place thread? Then anyone who makes something or offers a service, like pupuce, could post a message with a link it.

Problem is, as it would be free, mumsnet might lose potential advertising revenue. However, if it was just for small scale businesses who would never advertise on the home page, it might be OK?
