please look at this!!!!

Did anyone buy a soft toy from Ikea about four years ago? (Yes I know - pushing it here) The one we need is a black and white cat (some have thought dog) about 1 foot in length.

This was ds comfort toy, has slept with him everynight since birth, now gone for good (lost) and now we are all shattered that it has gone. He is so upset and waking with nightmares. Help, anyone got one?

Aaaaagh! So excited dancing singing so so happy I have a tear in my eye!!!!!! Can I email you to get your address essbee, then I can send you an envelope with my address on it and something for the postage, is this the best way? Feel so happy. You cannot imagine ds face when he sees it!!!!! btw not me in that pic, it is granny!!!

just emailed you again essbee. Just told my mum and she is ecstatic too, my dad bought this for ds and was so chuffed that he had chosen it as his special comforter. I will never let this one leave the house!!!

essbee that is so sweet of you but really she won't notice, I think we will just tell ds that a very kind lady found "meeow" and posted him to us. I really do feel so moved by your kindness and the wonder of mumsnet!!!!

Awww..!!!! She won't notice at all, she will just be relieved that her big brother is not tearful and upset anymore!!!! Sorry for not posting back earlier - but it looks like there's a happy ending already sewn up which I am pleased about!! I had to get DH to go up into the attic, but it seems that 'flat cat', as we called him, must have gone to the charity shop or disappeared into the abyss. So sorry that I could not help, but so pleased that you have a replacement too.
