Hi, yesterday I went to a salon to have my hair coloured. I’ve alrwady got the balayage effect and I just wanted it all redone with the blonde coloured up higher on my head. I explained that I have dark brown dyed top part of hair and about 2 inches of auburn brown root that I want to grow out and just have the blonde and my natural colour. I explained that I wanted the blonde highlights up far enough to cover most of the brown dye and blend my natural with the bleach. She was trying to explain to me that the bleach wouldn’t lift on my dark dyed top part of my head. Never heard this before! It’s always worked before I’ve had dark roots and blonde. As she’s a hairdresser I left her to it. She used a toner on my bleach so I never had copper I assume. Had the blow dry and my hair looked better than before as it always does in a salon, I guess I knew in my heart that it wasn’t as blonde as I wanted but I payed the £99!!! And left. I got home and even my husband asked me what I’d actually had done as well as my neighbor. I’m crying because I’ve just lost so much money over something that just looks the same. The blonde isn’t blonde it’s grey! From toner. And underneath I’ve got random chunks of hair that are pretty much orange! The blonde is no higher than before. £99 for this with no style blow dry just a normal dry and no cut either! Plucked up the courage to ring them back and they want me to go back in next week and have it re done. But my friend who normally does my hair who moved away(hence why I went to a salon) is coming back down to do it for me! Can I ring the salon and tell them that I have got someone else doing my hair and that I would like all my money back? Sorry this is so long and confusing!!
