About a year ago, a pregnant woman and her daughter moved into the flat just below mine. The woman has a boyfriend who visits on a regular basis and often, during his stays, they have explosive arguments where he screams the flat down and threatens to beat her up. I once stood by the door and listened to all the things he called her, right in front of her little daughters, who cried and screamed. I heard a bang and I could have sworn he either threw something big at the wall or threw the woman against the wall. I was crying and shaking, and I called the police. The police came and she told them 'they only had a fight' and sent them away. These 'fights' happen at least once every 2-3 weeks.
On top of that, they smoke weed in the flat. I absolutely hate the smell of weed and can currently smell it in my bedroom and kitchen. I have complained to my landlord and EA but nothing has changed. Can someone give me any advice on what to do, please?

I would see if your council has an antisocial behaviour team. I would also call the police every single time they fight. That poor child, can you also report to social services or the nspcc? No child should have to live like that, it is awful.

That's what I keep thinking! The poor babies! Plus my children can hear it (and smell it) all too!
