I'm currently expecting my 3rd baby! So I have a 20 month old boy, a 10 month old boy and I am due in November. HOWEVER, I am sooooooooo torn between buying the doona stroller/car seat and/or keeping my Hauck Duett 2 Tandem. I hardly go out anywhere, partly because my husband and myself have been car sharing (annoying) so he has the car ALOT. I have a single stroller at home too (which I'm planning on selling) I'm so confused and feel like I've got too much going on, do I sell the Tandem Pushchair and buy a cheaper stroller for days when I do go out with my boys? Or do I keep my Tandem. I feel as if though the Tandem is so much effort as you have to fix the bassinet seats on to it to use it? I literally just need something that quickly opens up and closes. However, because it's highly unlikely I'll ever be travelling alone with the 3 of them I was thinking to get a cheap stroller for my eldest boys and for the 3rd a doona? HELP PLEASE Smile

Approx 300 for a glorified carseat? That would be a no from me. Would you consider babywearing as an alternative?

The doona looks just awful. Clunky, heavy, and surely you won’t be able to have baby in it for long? Given the research on the very limited time newborns can safely be in a car seat?

I’d get a really good fairly lightweight double pushchair for DS1 and 2 and put baby in a sling. For the pushchair a friend with twins rates the Mountain Buggy double. For the sling, initially a stretchy wrap (Ama or Boba or similar) then from about 4 months something like a Connecta or Tula. Once DS1 is reliably walking most places baby can then go into the double pushchair.

Any way you can get a second car or get use of the car you have more often? Like at least 3 weekdays? You’re going to need to be able to get out or you will get a bit cabin feverish/feel isolated.

Good luck!
