DS is just 5 and has confined his exhibiting to the house until yesterday when he felt the need to share with the word when we were out for a walk.

I have been telling him up to now, thats not nice, we don't do that etc etc.....and yesterday he was marched straight home and was told to go talk to Daddy about why. Daddy had a stern chat but with all 5 year olds its in 1 ear and out of the other.

Any tips on how to deal with...should I ignore or tell off?

Could you have a quiet word with his teacher so she could bring it up in a "class chat" i.e. not specifically aimed at him? The teacher at my ds's school gave them a big chat about private parts being private which made a big impact on my ds who up until that point had been a bit of an exhibitionist himself. IME if teacher says it, they listen (rather than boring old mummy).
