Hi - yes its me again - the one who was scammed . Anyway i am over that now and thinking of my pushchair.

I know I want a Bugaboo but dont know whether to buy the fog or pay extra for the Cameleon.

My Son is 6 months so I dont need the carrycot.

The frog is £220.00 and the Cameleon £400.00 any advice?

Emma

helenhismadwife told me she preferred the frog???

I'm happy with my frog I believe the cam has a bigger seat & the overall size is a little bigger, the front wheels have improved suspension and the handle height is adjustable - you can buy cam wheels for £50 and put them on the frog though.

Sorry I meant the frog!!

Do you think your ds will be huge for his age at 2.5????

1legmummy · 11/06/2007 20:59

He is really long now so I think he will be tall and stringy like my first Son

well the cam is apparantly larger but it depends if you think you will still be using a big pushchair at 2.5 - 3 or whether you will revert to a buggy & walking? Which ever you buy you'll get most of your money back provided it's still in god nick.

OK apparently the Frog has a tiny nick in the handle. Do you think this will make a difference? From what I can tell the Cameleon seat unit can also be used as a stand alone chair for feeding - does the frog do this?

No idea - but why would you want to?

warthog · 12/06/2007 07:28

for us, the deciding factor was the adjustable handle, because dh is a tall, strapping lad so we went for the cameleon.

CarGirl · 12/06/2007 09:53

dh is 6'3" and he's quite happy with the frog

I have a fixed wrist so feeding is difficult on my lap - therefore I need a seat to take to friends. Thanks for all advice I have gone for the Frog

I have cameleon and love it. When i was comparing the gecko to cam there was a fair difference in size cam was bit higher as a pram too. Hope this helps

ScottishMummy · 12/06/2007 13:49

both good prams - difficult to call

frog discontinued 2005 when cameleon arrived - so maybe difficult to get spares etc

both got different spec

briefly

cameleon bigger seat and underseat bag
cameleon adjustable handlebar - would this suit more
Cameleon u can change hood colour with the fabrics

BUT both hold resale value well...

good luck
