Oasis’ first two albums were outstanding, with many classic tunes and a few ‘borrowed’ riffs. The sound of Liam, who had been on the dole a few weeks previously snarling “Is it worth the aggravation to find yourself a job when there’s nothing worth working for” and “tonight I’m a rock n roll star” was completely authentic and real. They were one of the best live bands ever, but the magic didn’t last. Too many drugs, too many arguments and too much money made their third album an overblown flop. It was all downhill from there, sadly.

I've seen them live. Liam's a great front man but Noel has the voice of an angel.
