I would leave my dd with my mum on a friday afternoon.... jump in the Eurostar with dh and start drinking bubbly.

Check in at the Ritz Hotel.

Dinner. Bed. Sex. Telly.

Next day : shopping in St Germain, lunch, Pompidou Centre, more dinner, more sex,

Next day: Wake up late, room service walk along the Seine, lunch with friends.... train back to London,

The perfect weekend!

On Friday evening I would ship the boys to my parents' house so I didnt have to worry about them and take DH to

The Fat Duck in Bray for dinner

and then go to a

Fabulous hotel for the night.

Lie in and have a long hot bath with the paper and coffee and go for a late breakfast.

Take a walk through the parks in London and do a bit of shopping.

Go to another fab hotel and really dress up and see a show like The Lion King and have a really late dinner at Gordon Ramsay's.

Then on Sunday morning I would lie in again with the papers and make a fuss of DH and have lots of sex and a lovely lunch somewhere in the countryside. Back home and find the children fed and in bed so I could spend the evening with DH again.

Bliss and perfection.

Before I read this, I wonder how many people said 'sleep and eat chocolate and all my fave foods in bed'

Ok then, I'm on a yacht, moored off some island somewhere amazing, and I'd be snorting cocaine from silver trays walked round the deck on the heads on vertically challenged men. I'd be wearing a designer bikini and heels and dancing to a live set by Frankie Knuckles and watching the sun set, still smiling about the dolphin I swan with earlier and looking forward to the great sex I'll be getting in a few hours.

I miss those few short years when I had enough money and freedom to think fuck it, I'm gonna go to ibiza tomorrow night and I'll just phone in sick for a few days, or

go to glastonbury and stay up all night on acid and talk to crazy people about crazy stuff
