Hiya,

just thought I'd warn anyone who banks with Halifax - I just recieved an email asking me to follow the link and re-register my online banking details with halifax,

I know its dodgy because I don't bank with them

So the fraudsters must just be sending them out in hopes that someone does bank with halifax and thinks itrs genuine and enters their details,

so don't!!

xx

Hi, yes I have had 3 (from Lloyds, Barclays & Halifax) in the past few months. I have always forwarded them to the bank which have then confirmed that they are all a hoax.

Thanks for the warning.

oh lol i have 4 or 5 in my inbox every day

basically, if it doesn't have your full name in it, don't click.

don't click ANYWAY. If you think it might be genuine, go separately to your online bank and check there.

i love these. i always fill them in. in fact, just this morning i had one from nationwide. so i filled it in.

today my name is Youmustbe Joking, my password is pissoff, i was born on the 0th of 0, 0000 and my passcode is 666666. i wish them all the luck in the world.

i especially love it when they confirm i have entered the correct details and thank me for my time although i have started to come across some that tell me i have entered the incorrect info, so i think they are getting more techie !!
