Also would like to know if this is worthwhile - I've failed 3 times and with 3 kids have no chance to take normal lessons!

glad it's not just me! been an urbanite all these yrs so had no need or inclination to learn before. anyone out there?

my brother ( younger that me) just did one in a week and passed 1st time! it was pricey but seems to have paid off.He lives in London but actually went to stay near Norfolk to do it as he couldnt get a test date in London for months and months.

How pricey? another here, have been driving for years but I will need to get an English licence soon.

I also would like to know...

my friend has just done this and passed her test. I think it costs about £550 for monday to friday course, with test on the friday. But to be honest thats good value for money because it is around 7 hours driving per day and i think it includes the cost of the test as well. You have to be organised though and have to have already passed your theory test, and you need to book the practical test so that it coincides with the driving lessons, that can sometimes be the tricky bit.

HTH! Good luck!

HelloMama · 21/08/2004 16:54

oh, by the way, thats the cost if you do the intensive course OUT of London. Would probably cost more in London.
