Child friendly restaurant in London

We're going on a touristy day trip to London this Sunday, taking the kids on the London Eye and possibly an open top sightseeing bus. We'd like to have lunch somewhere nice rather than a MacDonalds etc and wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere near the London Eye (Embankment area) that would be happy to have a 5 year and a nearly 2 year old. I was considering Pizza Express (although there doesn't appear to be one near the Eye) but it wouldn't be anywhere different as we have one where we live.

Any responses (even if not near the London Eye)gratefully received.

There is a yo sushi just by the London Eye - at the back of county hall. This is where my DD(6) and DS(4) love to eat - they like choosing from the conveyer belt!

There is also a Loco Locatelli (sp) there which is Italian and happy to take children.

Also a chinese restaurant up above the aquarium but haven't been there so don't know what it is like.

I think you should try toptable or squaremeal for more ideas.

Royal Festival Hall, five minutes along the river from the Eye, has a reasonable caff with a huge open space good for toddlers to run around and usually a jazz band playing on Sundays.
