Help! Help! How to clean mouldy clothes?

Please help. My washing machine broke down and it took them over a month to deliver the new one. In that time I had all the family washing plus bedding from 2 holiday cottages to get cleaned by friends. Then we went camping and came home with loads of wet and damp clothes.......

Well I've finally got through most of the washing. Done about 16 loads in the last 4 days ready for camping again tomorrow. But several items of clothing (my favourite baby clothes of course) are covered in mould and its not come out in the wash. Help I'm gutted.

Anyone know the best thing for removing mildew. I'm not very hopeful but I'll loose about 15 items otherwise.

There is a stain devil for mould, I think.

I got the stain devil when I realised my tablecloth had gone mouldy (a drink must have been spilt and a table mat was on top for a while before I realised). It recomended soaking for 30 mins but I had to keep adding more and more powder with boiling water for about 5 hours to remove the mould. It did work in the end but I use almost a whole bottle of stain devil on a small patch of table cloth.

Its definitely worth a try if the clothes are important to you.

This might help as well,

Also try soaking in a really strong solution of oxi-clean or vanish oxi-action for a few days. It's like a bleach but doesn't harm colours. I use it all the time.
