Weird dot

My daughter was taking photos the other day and came across this weird turquoise dot. Can anyone explain what this is ? Just very interested, thank you

It looks like a reflection from something on either the camera or something the photographer is wearing-a watch it necklace, IMO.

The only time we have ever had a photo with this dot in it was shortly after FIL had died, on my DH’s birthday. A few unusual/unexplainable things had happened that weekend. I’d like to think it was FIL close by.
