I wouldn't exfoliate - will make it more sore. Have you got anything with aloe vera in? I think natural yoghurt can take the sting out of it (though a bit difficult to wander around plastered in yoghurt!), or is it just red, not actually sore? I'd moisturise, maybe mixed with sudocrem. Poor you.

My mate had to go to work with white panda eyes from doing a similar thing.

Try cooling the skin (treat as a burn), but apart from that I don't think any product will work that quickly, sorry....good luck to tomorrow.

Natural yoghurt is good. Keep moisturising - get some after sun.

It will prob go down a lot by tomorrow.

yorkshirepudding, i recommend you go to a pharmacist and ask for advice. on no account exfoliate! are you mad, woman? i think you need a burn cream to take the redness away, but a pharmacist will know better. hth and good luck.

yes it will peel, that's why you need a proper burn cream

btw, my sister burned her face once v badly when we were on holiday in spain - her whole face swelled up. the pharmacist had some wonder potion that calmed it all down very quickly, hence my confidence in this course of action!
