Does anyone know how far would a witness in a Crown Court case be expected to travel, is there a "too far" limit ?
I am a witness for a case coming up in November (a minor witness I believe) but have since moved 170 miles from the court. I know I can claim travel expenses etc but I’m a single Mum and with kids, cats, dogs and a hamster to consider a 340 mile round trip is a very long journey for what may be only 5 minutes in the dock, would appreciate your thoughts
