brimfull · 28/05/2007 15:40

DSs are 3 and 19 months and have just started sharing a room. We've put all the toys upstairs in the now spare room. It's bliss! No more boxes of toys in the living room!

You won't regret it!

They play more upstairs, but bring smaller things down to play too. But they know the toys live upstairs so have to go back there.

They still do drawing, puzzles watch Cbeebies downstairs.

despite his daily attempts to move his toys in to every other room in the house, DS (3.8) has all his toys in his room, and has done since he was about 2.6. We live in a bungalow though and his room is in view of the living area so admittedly it is easier to confine all the toys in one place and keep an eye on him at the same time.

ds is a bit shite at playing on his own,but I'm hoping he'll be tidier if all his stuff is kept in the one place instead of scattered all over the house.
