Anyone know a good SAFE site like mumsnet for a 11 year old.

DGD would dearly love to talk to other people preferably living abroad, but I want one that is for under teenage only if possible and monitored. The PC is in the lounge so I can always see what she is doing and have Childguard on which keeps a history of what she does, so not too worried.

I dont know for definite but I would think it would be pretty impossible to know exactly who she was talking to. If you dont mind her using a chat room the best thing is to make sure she is aware of the dangers and basic internet chat room safety. Personally I dont let my 11 year old use chat rooms but I know one day he will at school etc.

Have you tried the cbbc website? They have a message board..
