So far dd has;
rejected breakfast on spurious grounds, then subsequently was to be found in the garden licking snails;
repeatedly tormented ds by dangling toys in front of him then snatching them away;
attempted to empty her own potty with the best of intentions but unpleasant consequences;

and ds has;
immediately pooed into a clean nappy 3 times in a row;
grabbed the spoon sending a pefect arc of mango over the cream/pale green curtains.

So all in all it's another typical day. Where did I put that wine bottle?

Maybe today could be a grandma day? If not, hope it gets better for you

hovely, let me pass you the vino... having a super day here too - up at 5am (after a broken night with baby ds) thanks to dd1 (5 yrs old) having woken everybody up by switching the light on in the room she shares with dd2, who then comes trampling down the corridor. Discover at 8am that dd1 has drawn all over our light stone floor with navy felt tip (it's soaked into the stone, can't get it off). Cue for me to turn into a monster, hurl felt tips into bin, rail and rage against dd1 whilst getting everybody ready to go to the doctor's to have my blood pressure checked for repeat mini-pill prescription (how pointless and just what you want with a bunch of little kids charging around the waiting room). Surprisingly enough BP was actually really low despite near-coronary inducing floor incident.

Quick thought Geekgirl, re stone floor - have you tried hairspray? It works on felt-tipped textiles, even where the stain has dried in.

thanks gizmo will go and buy some
