I used a friends avon sunscreen the other day after forgetting mine. It was fab. Spent a pamper day at a hotel, temp was about 26, lay in the sun all day, am fair skinned and didn't burn! i was pleasantly surprised and I will be buying supplies of my own!

I love the tesco one, cheap, goes on well, works, and smells of coconut!

which report

Hi, I posted the most recent which report a while ago. They took a sample of factor 12 and measured UVA and UVB protection and those that failed didnt mean they didnt work at all, just that they werent actually as high a factor as they said they were. So, if you use Soltan for example, doesnt mean you will definately burn, just that you havent got the protection you think you have and dont really know if you are using a 4 or 6 or whatever.

Hope this helps a bit.

Just for info, I have been fighting with skin cancer for many years and my consultant recommends the Australian brand Sunsense. I use the Ultra Lotion, factor 60. They do a roll-on cream for children which I find very useful and portable.

sorry i get factor 50 in suncream as me an dp burn easily so we all use it!
