How on earth do buggy boards work?

We giddily unpoacked out Out n About double Nipper the other night, along with Kiddiboard for dd - but can't for the life of me work out how it's going to work!

When we position it on the axle, it doesn't look like dd's head will have anywhere to go. The handle on the nipper is quite low (lower than that of our Graco Travel System) so where does her head go? She's only 2.5 and average height for her age.

How do they work??? I don't want to go letting dd climb on it or completely unwrap it and fix it and not be able to send it back.

TIA!

I think on the Nipper her head'll end up inside the loop of the handle, looking over the hood, if that makes sense...

That was I afraid of, doesn't seem very safe or comfortable really.

Not quite sure where she'd hold on as the side bits of the handle are so far apart, but if it's that or walking...

I don't want to waste £40 on something that she can't use. Thought (hoped) someone would come along and say "no, fix it, they're fab and work really well"
