I knew it was going too smoothly to be true! The sale of our flat has just fallen through due to the buyer having "financial difficulties". I'm soooo annoyed as I knew from the start that this guy would ar*e us around (gut feeling I suppose) - businessman who was "buying to let" and has other properties in the area. It wouldn't be so bad, but we went house-hunting last week, found our ideal house and had our offer accepted. Now it's all up the swanney and I'm feeling really peeved. He even told his solicitors everything was fine yesterday morning, then pulled out yesterday afternoon. If people don't intend to go through the a purchase, why do they bother?!! GRRRRR
Back to square one. Damn. We really liked the house we found too. Fiddlesticks.
