I have my surname changed after marriage at my local council office. I have somehow lost my documents or proof. Do you know where I can copies of the proof? I want to transfer few of my pension pots to my current one but they still have my old surname!

Many thanks in advance.

Can you request them from the council?
I recently paid for a copy of my birth certificate and seem to remember there being a list on the website for my council with various certificates etc that they could send you

I didn’t officially change my name with the council? I just changed all ID using my marriage certificate. Can you email a copy of your cert to the share company, I’m sure this would be sufficient evidence especially if you have a passport etc also?
