Hi,
We are soon moving from Bucks up to Northwich or Sandbach. We can't decide which. We have a nearly 4 year old girl and a nearly 2 year old boy so also have to consider schools, toddler groups, dance lessons, pre schools etc etc. At the moment I walk everywhere and would love to maintain that but where is a nice place to go??
Please help I really want advice.

I used to live in a village just outside of Northwich and loved it. My kids went to the Grange school which was fab. Northwich town centre was at the time a bit shabby, but it had a good range of everyday shops, M&S, Boots etc and its own small department store which I cant remember the name of. I believe there has been quite a lot of money spent on it recently with the riverside developments and electrification of the train line. A lot of my friends lived in Hartford where there were more new homes with young families and toddler groups and parks etc. There are some areas I would avoid, but I dont know what your budget is. Loads of open countryside on your doorstep. Love it .. just wish I could go back . DH worked in Manchester which was looking back with hindsight too much of a commute.

Cant really comment on Sandbach. Sorry, but good luck with your move whereve you choose.

I don't know Northwich very well but Sandbach is lovely.

we have quite a few chuildren from Sandbach come to our dance/drama classes but there are also ballet schools in the area.

High schools are very very good, they are currently single sex so it depends what you like. Good primaries on the whole too, Smallwood has a very good reputation.

Where to Live? Help!
Hi, was wondering if you could help.
My husband, me and little boy (under 1) are thinking of moving and buying in Northwich - seems you get more for your money, and its close to other areas and motorways. I know mid-cheshire well. What areas in Northwich would you reccomend - we think Barnton and Rudheath are ideal for a family, is there anywhere you would reccomend? Our budget is £120k.
feedback on good and bad stuff welcome!
Thanks
B
