Local adult education centres.

Ask at your local library - they often have details of courses.

gsce costs £82 at out adult ed centre, but an introduction to maths or english doesnt.

learndirect centres also offer adult certificates equivalent to gcse english and maths. Everyone I mentored was getting it free.

Local technical college. It'll be free if you're on IS or some other benefit

colleges and even some high schools do evening courses for adults. google your local college and see what they offer. COurses are not always free but are if you are on certain benefits.

May help to look for GCSE though
