do you need a full passport to go to france?

Yes. And get it NOW. If it's a new baby you CANNOT do this overnight. Believe me.

Yes - we just had outr passports done through the PO service..took about 8 days.

pmsl no none of have passports. but if we get lucky and get to go we will no by june 1st. will that be enough time.....sorry the trip would be at the end of august

mumto3girls, that is disgusting!! I asked one of my kids' teachers to sign when dc3 needed a new passport. They were more than happy to do it the same day, and, of course, free of charge. Your GP is a disgrace

Yes, luckily my two eldest dd got theirs signed by a teacher but they didn't know my youngest dd so we had to pay the doctor for that...took all of 3 secs...
