Chickens, dig up bindweed, cats, breakfast, etc etc the usual start to the morning. Though it is still lovely and sunny so I should give myself a shake and appreciate the nice weather, not sit grouching about not actually wanting to be awake yet.

Both DC up and active before 8 on a bank holiday. Earliest they’ve been up on a Monday for fecking ages.

Have to do ironing later. Don’t want to.

We went to the beach. Then we came home and I shook off the sand off everything I carried in. Then I hoovered up the sand that DS/DH had carried in with them to the hall. Then I went upstairs and hoovered up more sand. Then I washed sand off the sandals. Then I hung out the washing and put another load on. Then I made some sandwiches for DS. Now I just can't be arsed with anything.
