Lump along C-section Incision

Hello!

I'm worrying a little bit - I had an emergency cesarean 2 weeks ago and today I noticed that when I lie down there is a hard lump that runs along my incision.

It pretty much goes the whole length of the incision and the lump is hard to touch. Has anyone else had this or have any idea what it could be?

Going to speak to my doctors tomorrow but want to make sure I'm not on my own so I don't panic too much!

I vaguely remember mine being somewhat lumpy and strange early on, tbh that early I tried not to look at it much

I think that's totally normal swelling. It will go away over time

Yes at 2 weeks there will still be a lot of healing to happen. Ask your GP tomorrow but don’t panic in the meantime.

Totally normal. If it’s fairly similar along the whole scar, not super tender or leaking then I shouldn’t worry too much. Had 3 and this fibrous healing tissue takes months to dissipate. But it does.
