The next time I 'see' you I'll have:

  • turned 33
  • had a weeks holiday in Tuscany
  • jumped out of a plane

Today is my last day of Mumsnet until the 17th August. Thank you to all those sponsored me and thanks to all those that sponspored Esbee too for this parachute jump, you've all been incredibly kind and generous.

We'll both be back with news on the jump and totals raised.

And I'll be 33 aye..... hmmmmm I'll miss 32, it's been a good year all in all. I had a fall out with someone who used to be a good friend and that in turn affected another friendship which was very sad but I've come through it and realised who my real, true friends are and that can only be a positive thing. Lottie is doing really well and the last year I've watched her personality and strength grow and grow. All in all a good 32nd year. I hope 33 sees my daughter walking and lots of great times.

'See' you all on the 17th, TC xx

Have a fantastic holiday TC, very jealous about Tuscany. Italy is so lovely. Drink lots of red wine for me, and delicious Prosecco...mmmm. Orvieto near Siena is a lovely town too. I feel hungry just thinking about it...
And good luck with the jump too....aaargh!

aloha · 05/08/2004 11:05

Have a fantastic holiday, TC. Enjoy your birthday, and try not to think too much about jumping from that plane.

stop shwoing off girls, i'll hit the big 40 next year!
Hope you have a great holiday/jump/birthday Thomcat. What charity are you doing the jump for? I'm sure you can put me down for some sponsorship. My late father was in the parachute regiment and it's somehting that i've always said I'd do one day but as yet, I haven't quite got round to it. Perhaps you'll inspire me?
all the best to you and your family

On holiday in Norfolk TC (not Tuscany, sob!) And feeling distinctly unmotivated to get back to any work - and not even tired any more so can't blame being pregnant, just my natural laziness to the fore! Have a fab, fab time.

mckenzie · 05/08/2004 18:40

put me down for £20 then Thomcat please. Safe jumping.
