The other lady who was offered it (apparebntly had a disabled son in a wheelchair) wanted load sof adaptions done and an extension put on, council refused, dont know why, she turned it down and we got offered it!! This was after the meeting on monday which changed our points so we could have a house and they also added on another 150 points.
I also have had a mysterious message left on my answerphone from a local counciller asking me to call him, so i dont know if he had a hand in it, or if he will use this to try and get votes lol.
We have been in and out the last few days, painted the girls bedroom, stripped half the hallway, half the kitchen, painted 3 ceilings and done the 1st coat in our bedroom.
For dh to be able to walk in and rest without having to climb stairs is great. the living room and kitchen are at the back of the bungalow, so will place a comfty chair in the hallway, just in case. (its wide enough!!).
We have been packing like mad, evn dd1 has been helping, she packed her videos away today. The girls love it there as it has a huge garden. I am rambling on a bit i know, but i am soooo happy.
