Hmmm, good plan letus. I don't really do bikinis though so was thinking something more like this - too full on do you think? Grin

Very stylish Fancy. Perfect

Apricot’s looking very rosy cheeked inside that coat

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/03/2018 18:02

Are we back to Diana Dors sort of glamour-pussing again?

Ah helen what a lovely pic - a typical Tavern scene Grin

LetUsPrey · 17/03/2018 18:10

No that's not a typical tav scene - not a HBF in sight - grubby or otherwise Shock

In other news, I was listening to that Poetry reading thingy that TB was involved in. (I was working and had it on as background wittering) I have made it about half an hour into the podcast (www.acast.com/intelligencesquared - 'Power of Poetry')
My favourite was Helen Bonham-Carter reading:
Celia, Celia - Adrian Mitchell
When I am sad and weary
When I think all hope has gone
When I walk along High Holborn
I think of you with nothing on

I think Tom read something by a middle eastern poet abut love in heaven, or something, but it was no remotely wenchy and didn't make me laugh as much at all, so has not stuck with me.

Tea time... laters!

That’s a poem I can relate to

This is more tav scene

nothing to do with rugby, I’m just having a drink.

Just having a drink and not watching many Killers’/Brandon Flowers’ videos on YouTube.

mrsreynolds · 17/03/2018 19:38

Love that poem!

LetUsPrey · 17/03/2018 20:57

Saw a bit of the Italian team, I mean the Italy Scotland match today. Should I have been watching the French though when they were on?

I’m still on YouTube. Fuck me but Brandon Flowers is beautiful. And an amazing voice. And so very beautiful. Quite like to be doing the sex with him right now pleaseandthankyouverymuch.

DH got me a drink earlier. He’s quite generous with the measures as it turns out.

Oh and Wicked, that’s not Kylo’s light sabre you’re grabbing there. His weapon yes, his light sabre no.

LetUsPrey · 17/03/2018 21:26

thanks Fancy

As a bizarre coincidence, I’ve just watched a video of The Killers covering Starlight by Muse.

And we are shortly going to be watching Lucifer.

If my subconscious doesn’t come up with the goods after this, I bloody well give up.

LetUsPrey · 17/03/2018 21:48

There’s an episode of Midsomer Murders on right now called Let Us Prey Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/03/2018 21:57

Well, you're going to have a lovely subconscious effort tonight then LetUs, based around Midsomer murders. With no FAF in sight... Wink

Adds more helpful prompts that Detective Barnaby (was that his name?)

I think I'm heading for an early night...

Just as an FYI, it’s not great scrolling through photographs on an iPad when you’ve had a couple of —large— drinks

So, I shall leave LetUs asleep in the hayloft and wander into the Tav to do some tidying (because I'm awake and bored and can't think of anything more productive to do with my time without turfing the cat off my lap.)

We have snow, but not much. It' mostly been blown away but hopefully not in large enough quantities to drift across roads.

Motson and his potato friends are still sitting on the kitchen floor.

Morning wenches.

thanks for the paracetamol and water Helen.

and you can bloody well stay there and think about what you’ve done. Or rather what you haven’t done.

Bit of snow here too but also very windy. It’s not improving my mood. The bad mood which is here because I woke up at about 2 and couldn’t get back to sleep for ages because of DH’S snoring which I would liken to a bastard asthmatic warthog Angry

Hope you had an enjoyable evening Apricot.
