In other news, I was listening to that Poetry reading thingy that TB was involved in. (I was working and had it on as background wittering) I have made it about half an hour into the podcast (www.acast.com/intelligencesquared - 'Power of Poetry')
My favourite was Helen Bonham-Carter reading:

I think Tom read something by a middle eastern poet abut love in heaven, or something, but it was no remotely wenchy and didn't make me laugh as much at all, so has not stuck with me.

We have snow, but not much. It' mostly been blown away but hopefully not in large enough quantities to drift across roads.

Bit of snow here too but also very windy. It’s not improving my mood. The bad mood which is here because I woke up at about 2 and couldn’t get back to sleep for ages because of DH’S snoring which I would liken to a bastard asthmatic warthog
