Evening wenches. That’s a shame about —no golf— MrApricot’s knees. Perhaps you should take up golf instead? Or at least relaxing in the clubhouse Grin. Poorest you re the swelling though

I hope Jamie’s better at administering soothing treatment than he is at applying bandages

Doing DS2’s reading with him. The book isn’t that great

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/03/2018 20:14

Please say it's not Biff and Kipper etc?!

I am trying to do help DS with his homework by doing lots of it for him stupid crafty project that needs to be in on Friday, arghhhhhhhh

LetUsPrey · 07/03/2018 20:56

It makes me long for the days of Biff, Chip and bastard Kipper. Told DS1 about it and he said “oh god, that was rubbish”. Anyway, he did a page very reluctantly and wouldn’t do any more, which just leaves it all for tomorrow. DH’s fabulous words of advice were “perhaps you can do some in the morning DS2”. How very fucking helpful.

At least it’s not a craft project though

Not watched the most recent Shetland but I agree with your comments Badderz. I have a theory or two of my own but I’ll wait till I’ve watched this week’s.

Are you getting anything specific from Ikea Badderz?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/03/2018 21:01

Christ on a bike - WORSE than Biff etc?! WTAF?!

Anyway, in more amusing news, I've stumbled acrross the honest trailer for Grin

And now I must get back to 'helping' DS with his homework while he lies in bed.... Hmm

PS - yes Badders - what do you need from Ikea? Haven't you bought their entire catalogue yet Wink

LetUsPrey · 07/03/2018 21:25

at goddess of pointy things Grin

I find one can never have enough cinnamon doughnuts from Ikea. And I love their bedding. Do they still do the Daim bar cake?

mrsreynolds · 07/03/2018 21:32

Ds2 is heavily into fucking beast quest 😣
I want a couple of throws from Ikea (and meatballs obvs) but they've given out heavy snow showers here tomorrow morning so bugger that for a game of soldiers 😣
Prob just do a bit of long overdue housework
Or...watch Netflix and eat cake
It's 50/50 at this stage
helen I was thinking earlier I do have a lot of Ikea stuff in my house 🤣

FancyFancy · 07/03/2018 21:43

Evening, back home & am knackered. Agree that seeing all wenches every day is fab Smile

BeastQuest badders?

I believe comtess was rather fond of the doctor from Poldark......

mrsreynolds · 07/03/2018 21:49

It's the same little shit character and the same ruddy adventures in every book
Just different beasts
Bloody author is a genius - hundreds of books that are basically the same
😡😡😡😡😡😩

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/03/2018 21:53

Ah. comtess

And other Marvel stuff - how have I never found this website before, which contains much silliness...
www.pornokitsch.com/2018/02/the-absolute-and-definitive-ranking-of-every-marvel-movie.html Grin
^Captain America 2: Slash Soldier
Captain America 3: Top Trumps^

On that note, I'm heading for the hayloft, or at least to turf off Stupid Cat because I'm still in work clothes and she's kneading so they'll get trashed from pulled threads.

OP posts:
FancyFancy · 07/03/2018 22:01

It was a happy day when we got rid of them from our house badders Grin

I had a welsh cake (home made) on St David's day & thought of comtess

LetUsPrey · 07/03/2018 22:48

Ah Beast Quest. Both DC have been big fans. I’m hoping we’ve weaned DS2 off them. They’re from the same company that produces the Rainbow Magic books with a team of writers. They were good when DS1 would sit and read them himself because hurrah he’s reading! It’s not lasted though and he’ll only read a book if he has to for school. DS2 tends not to read by himself but sadly the reading of alllll the series of Beast Quest to DS2 has fallen to DH Grin

I’m going to look at those links tomorrow Helen

I’d go for the Netflix option Badderz. The weatherman has indeed just said the word “snow” quite a few times. Fuck. Off.

Oooo have just seen that Wonder Woman is showing on Sky from tomorrow. Excellent.

I’m off to the hayloft where I shall use my womanly superpowers on many HBFs.

mrsreynolds · 07/03/2018 23:04

I've got a rather large ironing pile to tackle tbh letus!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/03/2018 08:10

No snow, just rain.

DS also like Beast Quest, but he can read those by himself so I don't care. Goosebumps is up on the list now as well.

I still need to help finish DS' homework and my printer appears to be buggered, which might make it tricky Hmm

Morning wenches.

Ironing, Netflix and Brew Badderz - sounds not too bad

We have sleet, but it’s not forecast to last much longer.

How are you feeling today Apricot?

Spoke to MIL yesterday. She sounds very perky and feels much better.

FancyFancy · 08/03/2018 08:31

Morning - it is looking positively spring like outside today Smile

Off to work for me, laters......

mrsreynolds · 08/03/2018 14:34

Happy #IWD2018 wenches ❤

ApricotCrush · 08/03/2018 17:00

Afternoon. It's been a nice day here, but now raining.

Ah, ok. I can't get too worked up about all this stuff.

Sorry I'm grumpy today, I've got raging toothache, earache and jaw-ache. I managed to get an appointment with the dentist this morning and it's an infection. I have antibiotics. I can take paracetamol which isn't working, but I can't take ibuprofen as it clashes with the anti-coagulants. Argh!

So I see Tom is learning to drive, bless him. I know it's London, and the Tube and all that, but I don't know how anyone can live without a car.

Watched Shetland last night. Excellent.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/03/2018 17:03

Argh Apricot Sad

I can understand not driving if you live in London, but not if you ever leave London. But whatevs... Maybe his other half is sick of being designated driver Grin

OP posts:
ApricotCrush · 08/03/2018 18:32

Yes, indeed. However, cars can let you down as mine did this morning, flat battery. Had to go to the dentist in DH's.

LetUsPrey · 08/03/2018 18:53

Evening wenches.

Happy IWD2018!

Oh Apricot you poor poor thing Sad. Bloody bastard tooth/gum infection. And double bloody bastard when the paracetamol isn’t working. (Can’t take ibuprofen either because of asthma). I sincerely hope the antibiotics kick in quickly for you lovely

Sleet didn’t last long and it was replaced by sunshine and rain.

Might try to watch Shetland tonight if I can get DS2 to bed at an okay time, so I’ve time to watch it before DH gets home and starts with the “so who’s that?”, etc.

FancyFancy · 08/03/2018 20:53

Oh that's rotten apricot, hope the drugs start working soon.

I am trying to sum up teh energy to put away the groceries It really is a dull job
Someone kick me

Or better still, get Aramis in my kitchen, then going out there will seem more attractive.....
