it's very very important.

If you don't vote you can't complain. that's the rules!!!

I agree, it's our duty!!

2shoes · 01/05/2007 12:42

I agree. I think everyone should vote and feel VERY strongly about it. think of the suffragettes and what they had to go through to get women the vote.

Jelley · 01/05/2007 12:43

I already have (Postal vote)

lulumama · 01/05/2007 12:45

couldn;t agree more

especially important to vote as women, as other women suffered and even died to get us the right to vote

and also, in places where the BNP is standing, a vote for anyone else but them is a big help

and yes, no whinging about stuff if you can;t be bothered voting

no good saying ,'my vote won;t make a difference'..if everyone who didn;t vote for that reason, voted, it would make a difference!

we can vote my post in our elections, so no excuses not to!!

LazyLineCodKiller · 01/05/2007 12:47

I can always complain. It's what I do best.

I do vote though

Jelley · 01/05/2007 12:48

BNP are standing here. Labour aren't.

Jelley · 01/05/2007 12:48

BNP are standing here. Labour aren't.

LilRedWG · 01/05/2007 12:49

But - did you vote for them Jelley?

Jelley · 01/05/2007 12:49

BNP?
NO

LilRedWG · 01/05/2007 12:50

Am glad to hear it Didn't mean to cause any offence, I was only joking

Jelley · 01/05/2007 12:50

But the fact they were standing motivated me to vote for someone else.

lulumama · 01/05/2007 12:50

BNP are standing here, but alongside labour, tory, lib dem and some local independents

SoupDragon · 01/05/2007 12:50

I'm not going to vote.

LilRedWG · 01/05/2007 12:51

Why Soupy? Do you not have voting rights or can you just not be bothered?

SoupDragon · 01/05/2007 12:52

Mainly because there's no election

LilRedWG · 01/05/2007 12:53

LOL! I've got two votes - definitely elections here

SoupDragon · 01/05/2007 12:53

AT least there's no campaigning and I've not had my voting card. Generally speaking, I live in a very "safe seat" area so if it's too troublesome to vote, I don't bother.
