Ordered sky...very reluctantly, only to get an engineer who did a rubbish installation. Told him straight away that there was a problem with the picture (very fuzzy) and he didn't even bother checking anything-just said there was something wrong with our tv (bloody cheek). 30 days later, called him up to get him back round. Said he didn't remember us but it must be a fault on the tv (must be the company line). Very reluctantly he agreed to come round when he was free-but wouldn't give a time. I called sky who said they would book a different engineer as I was unhappy with this guys attitude in general. Next day get a phone call from the original engineer demanding to know why I wanted someone else, what was wrong with him!!!
Next day, he turns up with one of his sky mates, bangs on the door for a whole 15 minutes. I was at home alone with my 2 year old and certainly wasn't going to let this 6'3" ape in with his fat mate. They loiter outside for 15 mins and take something out of the back of their van (can't see what as I'm peeking through the curtains). After they've gone, the picture quality has miraculously improved. What should I do? Let things lie or complain....don't appreciate this ape coming back when I told him specifically that I wanted a different engineer, and CERTAINLY don't like having felt intimidated in my own home!!!
