How the h**l do you get ball point pen ink out of carpet?? Pls don't ask how it got there, but it ended up all over ds' and my feet!
Just googled for "ink on carpet" and the first one suggested hairspray (to act as a solvent), leave to dry and then half water half vinegar blotting rinse. In my panic I went ahead and sprayed on the hairspray.. but in another entry someone suggests white toothpaste..
Arggh, I hope I haven't made it worse in my haste. Has anyone got a tried and tested remedy? Quick replies would be appreciated!
